There are two types of consignment available, off-premise and on-premise.  We are mostly working and marketing out of the California area and especially SoCal.  The majority of our buyers are already in this area or more than happy to travel here to find the athlete/pet they've been hoping to make part of their family.
On-premise is only available to horses coming to and can stay in SoCal. The cost while they are with me is food, nummies, and Trainer (if needed).  Of course, shoer, vet or anything particular requested is, as usual, Owner expense.  I feed a balanced nutrition diet of forage and nummies according to how much they are worked.  This has been very successful for me over the last two years and the Owners have loved it.
I am very particular about who I bring in.  They have to be really quiet and obedient.  Since there is no board charge, I basically take care of them for free.  All the pets that have come to me flourished.
I also have several consigners I have done good business with in the past and besides trustworthy, excellent expertise with hunters, jumpers, dressage, and eventers.  All have worked with warmblood athletes and are capable of properly showing off you horse as I bring the Prospects and Trainers to view your equine.  I market them the whole time. Off-premise is easier to get started.  Email me all the pertinent information and a few good photos of your steed with a full account of accomplishments.  I will contact you back and we can organize an excellent 30sec video and with luck, I may already have numerous prospects for your athlete.
